How to Make a Boxwood Valentine’s Day Wreath
Create a warm welcome to your home with a homemade seasonal wreath. Here is how I made a boxwood Valentine’s Day floral wreath.
My name is Kelly. I'm married to my best friend, Cesar, with three beautiful kids ranging from 19 years old to 1 year old. Going from a full-time career in non-profit leadership to a full-time stay-at-home mom two years ago was a major shift for me and I desired a side project. Gardening became an interest to my husband and I for many reasons such as convenience, cost effectiveness, and just the simple beauty of plants! We built two raised garden beds last summer of 2023 and designed our own landscaping, which has been quite the experiment learning the different sun/shade needs of plants. We hope to expand with a flower garden on a small patch of land in our backyard, hence the name Little Patch Flower Co. As a beginner gardener, I am learning so much about God's intentional design in nature while basking in the beauty of His creation. Creating flower arrangements, harvesting my own produce, and watching my seeds sprout truly brings me so much joy. This blog is meant to encourage moms to pursue the hobby of gardening while also providing educational resources that anyone can apply to their gardens. I intend to share what I learn here on the blog, social media, and also through in-person workshops coming next summer, Lord willing! Learn with me as a beginner gardener with zero prior experience here to show you that you can do it, even with a little time, little money, little experience, or just a little patch.
