Easy Fall Crafts for Kids
Looking for a fun and simple way to keep leaves that your kids love to collect? This fall-themed craft will get you and your little ones outside to walk and explore all while putting together a memorable activity.

My name is Kelly. I'm married to my best friend, Cesar, with three beautiful kids ranging from 2 years old to 20 years old. Going from a full-time career in non-profit leadership to a full-time stay-at-home mom about four years ago was a major shift for me and I desired a side project.
Gardening became an interest to my husband and I for many reasons such as convenience, cost effectiveness, and just the simple beauty of plants! We built two raised garden beds the summer of 2023 and designed our own landscaping, which has been quite the experiment learning the different sun/shade needs of plants. We have since expanded with a flower garden on a small patch of land in our backyard, hence the name Little Patch Flower Co. Our family-owned small business provides locally grown seasonal floral arrangements and gardening workshops for all ages primarily at our Glenmoore, PA location at Bespoken Cottage in Ludwig's Village.
I am still learning so much about God's intentional design in nature while basking in the beauty of His creation. Creating flower arrangements, harvesting my own produce, and watching my seeds sprout truly brings me so much joy.
I hope to share joy through the beauty of flowers while encouraging others to garden even with a little time, little money, little experience, or just a little patch.

We have two raised garden beds in our yard and this is the first time I am using one for a fall garden. I plan to share more about this experience in a future blog. The other garden bed is primarily packed with tomatoes and mint. As I started the cleanup process to prepare the bed for winter, I became disappointed in the overgrown weeds, the amount of dropped tomatoes, the spinach I totally forgot to harvest because it was hidden under the mint… I felt like a failure…

Start a garden? You mean be responsible for the lives and water intake of more than my family? How is THIS going to help me as a busy mom?
