A cardboard box

Boxcutter or scissors

Marker

Packaging tape

Paint is optional for the pumpkin outline

Grab a decent sized box and draw the outline of a pumpkin. Then use scissors or a box cutter to cut out your shape, leaving the center open. Next, let your child color the outline or head to the next step! Finally, use packaging tape on one side and let your kiddos start adding leaves. Once completed, tape the other side to seal your craft and preserve this memory.
